Superwoman

There's this thing she did

Wore tough skins in open spaces

Like if she laid it down for a minute

The sun would expose her

Reveal her true form

Sometimes she felt claustrophobic

Denying the open air all around her

She longed for breath

Fresh, uninterrupted, free lunging

But that's just how life rolls

Steamrolled her into expectations she couldn't find the keys to

Maybe she needed it stop

Maybe she needed an escape

Whatever the solution was

It seemed to hide its face

So she wore capes

Saving a thousand people

Hoping she'd gain enough experience to save herself.
