Survival of the sulkiest

Updated: Aug 15, 2021

O how she thrived on being left out

It was her territory

And she guarded it holistically

Watching others from sulk position

Till they noticed...

If they noticed...

When they noticed...

The hairs on her skin paid attention

Standing akimbo waiting on her

Till she said something

And they all burst out laughing

O how her hairs paid attention

And stood at ease

O how she thrived on being left out

Or not being taken seriously.
