Teleportation

Updated: Sep 10, 2022

I wish life could just be moments

Relived to be forgotten

Resentment irrelevant

Every day as new as we claim

I wish my dad will cry more

I wish my mum will cry less

I wish for TV dads and Sunday dinners

Where laughter is passed around the dinning table without care

I wish adulthood wasn't as lonely

And phone calls could repair broken relationships

Instead of searching for strangers to turn family

We will all sit in our forgotten familiarity

Happy, Hopeful, and Free of one another
