The Queen's Gambit

Snap!

And just like that she became her mother

Too drunk to move any further

Her talent spilling all over

A pleasant bother

Stuck!

And just like that she became her

Her, who she secretly despised and admired

The boredom of her pinnacle alluding her

A brightly colored washed up wall

Blast!

And just like that she returned

An influx of reminiscence

An unyielding persistence?

Cemented casual custodians?

The deciding factor

A winner's losing battle
